Always avoid New Well Lane up from Trefonen - Treflach has very few passing places, and cannot take long vehicles.
The Final stretch
From the high road look for signpost to the East for Pentre Cefn and Sychtyn.
Take that, and follow the single track lane past the "big house" (satnavs often get to here).
Now past converted barns, carry on down the hill and round the sharp right hand
bend, carry on for another 60 metres to when you see a farm gate ahead of you and a black wheelie bin,
see gabion walls (stones in wire), with the house name in large letters.
Do not go any further down the lane, or you are on a single track with no possibility to turn round for miles.
The gate has a silly notice about escaping dogs, ignore. If staying a short while, fix the gate open with the stone provided.
The large dog (a Bouvier) is noisy but harmeless, except for running around in front of vehicles.
Come up our track. Avoid any muddy borders, otherwise it's very solid stone base.
